I am not a professional - simply a hobbyist with a lot of images that are special to me. I'd wanted to not start a subscription model, but after studying the alternatives, have decided to stick with Lightroom due to familiarity, editing features, and loss of certain functions such as keywords and albums, among other things, in the alternatives. Seems like I read something warning about the Catalina + Lightroom Classic (10).Is Catalina significantly improved vs 10.14?.Then click Set date and time automatically. DupeGuru is free to use software and is compatible with macOS 10.10 and higher versions. The app can find photos, videos, files, and similar name documents. Restart your Mac again if necessary, and then go to System Preferences > Date & Time.Click the lock icon and enter your password (if necessary) to enable changes. DupeGuru is a simple and very effective tool when it comes to finding duplicate photos. Is there any problem with Catalina plus Lightroom Classic (computer-based images) on my machine? Anyone have first-hand experience? If the displayed date and time dont match reality, this could be the problem. Although I can't upgrade the OS to Big Sur, it does appear that Catalina 10.15 is compatible with my machine. It's been a great machine, but as stated above (I just learned from an Apple support page) Big Sur will not run on - or at least is not recommended for my MacBook Pro Retina 13", late 2012. What started this is I always like to run the latest OS on my mac.
